Question 1: Introduction: Who you are and what is the goal of this pitch?
We are a group of youth workers from Romania, Chile, Moldavian Republic and Italy, experienced in non-formal education and experiential learning. For the past 10 years we have created learning experiences for youth aged between 18-35 years old that aimed to develop life skills.

Question 3: Problem: What problem or business opportunity you are addressing?
The young people from small urban and rural areas don’t have access to non-formal learning opportunities that can prepare them for their future careers, nor that can broaden their horizons. They have the possibilities to follow only public schools and classic courses. Due to their lack of knowledge and practical skills they don’t know how to access the labor market and to find a job that they have prepared for during high-school and faculty.
Question 4: Solution: What is your solution to the problem or business opportunity?
“Life race” is a program dedicated to young people which aim to develop their life skills in a non-formal and fun way, which is more effective and engaging and don’t require a financial support or too much time investment.
Question 5: Product: How your product or service works?
One person or a group of people participate in a treasure hunt which aim to develop their life skills. Each challenge helps them develop a life skill, bringing them closer to a better version of themselves and preparing them for the labor market or to be active employees at their current jobs. The quest is developed based on an initial screening of the young people needed skills. Afterwards it can be tailor-made on particular skills that groups of young people are missing. At the end of each learning quest, the team of trainers facilitate a debriefing session that guide the young people in a self-reflection process.

On long term, the program will be supported through the following revenue streams:
1) corporations who need the solution to train their junior and other employees can benefit and pay for the corporate package
2) registering the model as a trade-mark and outsource it/franchise it
3) family packages dedicated to special events like June 1st (family day)
4) branded products which are sold to the customers
5) consultancy to educational training providers, schools or company to create fun and interactive learning experiences that develop the life skills of the youngsters.
Question 9: Resources needed: The money and other resources that you need in order to grow
In order to implement the project, the initial investment will be 200.000 EUR for the first year.
